"Internet Use for Older Adults" Presentation at Virtual Ability

On Friday, December 18, 2009 at the Sojourner Auditorium on Virtual Ability Island, Bathsheba Darkfold, a PhD candidate in anthropology at SUNY-Buffalo will present and lead a discussion on "Internet Use for Older Adults". The presentation will occur twice with the first one starting at 5 am PST/SLT and again later on the same day at 1 pm PST/SLT.

From the notecard:

"Older Adults increasingly need and want to use computers and the Internet to stay in touch with friends and family, to keep up with current events, and for entertainment. This presentation will focus on what interests and concerns older adults may have in using computer technology and how loved ones and educators might address those concerns."
